I'm a not so secret lover of Power Pop (not the sugary sweet Bubblegum kind though I'm not mad at that either) caught the Power Pop bug while seeing this guy in 1979 here, to do power pop right ya gotta Rock and Rock Hard in 2 part harmony look good doing it and make sure that everybody leaves elated and horny heck, it's the ultimate Rock Party Music
Well the other night i went here and saw a friend of a friend's son's band play, went out of curiosity, loyalty and boredom and stayed outta...well... these guys SUREFIRE Rock! with a capital OCK.
With all the sullen poseing in rock theses days it was refreshing to see a band move and jump and smile while bangin' out potential hit after potential hit, if ever they're in your town you should go help them party it down.... you'll be able to say i remember/saw them when, and as a young man from liverpool once said to his band mates "where we going boys"-"to the the topper most of the popper most, Johnny"!came the reply.... and so is Surefire. [really]
