Hi,

Since longtime I visit regulary your website and it's first time that I deceide to write you!!!
Thank you for your super idea of make a handful of international stuffs (bollywood, japanese 60s garage and mexican rock...all is great!!!!!), and it's really rare of seen some good mexican r&r & garage comps in vinyl sharity on the web.
About this comps, I have already it, and it's really one of my favourite with the famous "Blue Demon's Mexican Rock And Roll Favorites"!!! otherwise perhaps can you help me (????), 'cause I'm looking for since very very longtime another comps (similar sound) called "Asesinos de la lucha libre" (with a beautiful artwork included a "Santo" with guitar), so if you have it in your collection it will be the most beautiful christmas surprise for me of put it online...thank you in advance!!! and bravo, good continution again!!!!

I've been looking for Juanita Banana for a while; it's absolutly hilarious, specially because the singers have a very strong american-english accent. Thanks for that!

accidentalmente, el día de hoy me topé con este fabuloso sitio, no entiendo muy bien el contenido de los post porque mi inglés es muy primitivo.

Excelente música y fabulosos enlaces.

gracias y felicitaciones por este grandioso sitio.

I've got this one on vinyl too. Very good, but it's the only one I've been able to find. Any other Mexican r&r from this period would be very welcome!

Hello!

Thanks for this compilation! :D

As a native spanish speaker, I might want to correct you the following tracks, so people looking for them over the net can find them easily (therefore this'll translate into more hits to your page -hopefully-)

01.Chica Alborotada.mp3

08.La Novia De Mi Mejor Amigo.mp3

Cheers! ;-)

Hello. It's very intersting your compilation published here about Mexican 60's Rock. However, its mor4 interesting that this compilation doesn't include the song "Tus Ojos". This song was performed by "Los Locos del Ritmo", and it is considered the actually first mexican rock song. Well, I'm not trying to be a purist, but it's very notorious that the cover shown by you is the same cover of the LP that included the named song. I suggest to you to read some related literature, for example the book written by José Agustín (a mexican writer of 60's and 70's wave)"Los Grandes Discos del Rock" and another edited by Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes, that have a name like "Catálogo del Rock Mexicano" (I don´t remember exactly). O.K: Anyway, congratulations man. Thank you very much, guey!¡Eres Martín Chingalín! Your page is wonderful!

Thank's from Paris (France) for this fantastic selection !

Thank you so much for posting these awesome Mexican classics! Back in the early 70's my mom used to play LP's from Los Apson, Los Freddy's and Los Teen Tops covering Elvis and Beatles songs! Wish I could find all that stuff. All her LP's were destroyed. :(

I downloaded this a year or so ago, and it's still a big favorite for me. Thanks so much for all the great stuff you're pumping out here. The Japanese and Italian albums are also a treat. You're spreading civilization here.
