Transit_of_the_earth
About 5 years ago sorta stopped buying vinyl yea the occasional missing link or gotta have poped up but frankly with a bad back like mine you shouldn't be looking for more stuff to schlep in the event ya gotta move it...
Speaking of moving BIG HUGE thanks to the Brooklyn Contingent, as yet again another place i stored lots of my Lp's went condo in fact if you have a building that you'd like to see the value of increase just let me store my records there and within 3 years you'll be going condo......
I digress as i was typing blah blah stopped buying vinyl blah blah but the other night i was out in Williamsburg hang while Brother Low was Djing a paty for this great band Fireball who's newest effort "Blessed Be" is out on High Roller Records and mid set my back was aching like mad so i decided to take a little walk ( walking seems to help it more than anything else thought comments??) about in the old hood stumbled in to Academy which i guess recently opened an outpost there on N6Th and found this simply amazing gem not gonna front it was a had to buy after several listenings thought you all would dig it the most as well, so here it is in all it's glory Arthur C. Clarke You Rule!!!

For all You Scientific Americans

ScientificThis little audio darling is one of my ultra treasures as the mag has been a good friend over the years even have a hoard of issues from the late 50's into the early 60's. It's one of our oldest publications started by this visionary Here's some of the very first issues from 1845 and here as well.
In 1948 Gerard Piel bought it and revamped it for the modern industrial and scientific community in 1958 he sat down with James Macandrew for a riveting 22:59 conversation and here it is Enjoy!
Scientific American

This just in Dave a listener outta the U.K did a electro track using this LP as a vocal source I liked it and thought ya'll might as well, so check it
Re-Mixed  Scientific American
and also check out Dave's sites for a bit of sumthin' sumthin'

And I'm Back Part 2

Yep I'm really back this time promise (if ya care) I'm probably not going to do the linage posts daily trip there are many many great linkage sites all of the ones I usually find the links posted here are in the Daily Clicks and Eye Tunes blog rolls to your left so hit them early and hit them often for the latest and greatest in linkage. Of course if I find something particularly sweet I'll pass it along

Here's a nice and tight comedy infused stereo test record only side one is featured the side 2 on this audio delicacy is symphonic easy listening type stuff and you probably have enough of that by now!

Behind Closed Doors

Here's another spoken word with music charmer made in 1959 as a promo give away/test record by JBL it might be the most deluxe test record in the archive, and while it dosen't have the blips and bloops I dig so much it has some great narative and the musik ain't so bad but your not listening to this to dig on the tune it's to learn ya up somethin' bout them there sound making platters which come in the cardboard envelope so next time you won't add so much dobly and ruin the mix.
It comes with a 4 page "glossary provided in the pdf. It's an emphemeric biscut to be sure was thinking it would've have been sweet if they had made on of these with a Rock band like say Ultimate Spinach maybe they did? anyone?
Warning:these files are rather large about 15mg per so it might go slow...
