Ed " Big Daddy" Roth what can I a mere mortal say about The Man and Legend Mr. Roth even has a House font that's been abused to no end. My personal trip with Big Daddy started somewhere between 1963-64 when my Dad got me a Rat Fink Ring and in an effort to socialize me encouraged and helped me to start a Rat Fink Club, making a sign for the basement door buying the models helping me put them together etc.,as I don't remember all that much of those day's 'cept my old man's coolness and love.
My Doctor tells me as we get older our memories for things that happened long ago is often better than remembering events that occur daily so check back in 40+ years and I'll be able to tell the whole bit. Needless to say both "Big Daddy's" left forever their influence on my pre-teen mind and like it was a Gas-s-s-s-s..
So dig this here Rare Biscuit and a real treat It speaks for itself so I'll shut -up and let ya have at it.
Yes! Oh, yes! This is way too great!
Cheers,

Have been slowly reading through the BD Roth book, someone should post a jillion of his old bubblegum cards...maybe someone already has...finally, an album post (Hot Rod Hootenanny) that actually means something (how many lame easy-listening albums can the internet handle??)...nothing like good old Gary Usher-style hot rod tuneage - - I suggest "Muscle Bustle" - a nice compilation on ACE Records with slightly less cartoon-appeal, but some good hot-surf-rod music Beach Boys monument goes up in Hawthorne on May 22nd... I'll be there- Houseplant Picture Studio - KB - http://www.houseplantpicturestudio.com
