I`ve always felt it was more like "The Ultimate Guilty Pleasure". It`s a funny relic few have ever owned up to liking. Well I`m stepping out of that closet! I`ve been listening to this album for years and I`m no longer ashamed! Hail the genius that once was "The Ultimate Spinach"! Thank`s bro!

Problems with track number 7... Maybe it's due to this sign:# It's like the track number 14 of LP n°3!...

Thanks for this special vinyl charity week ! It's always a pleasure to visit your website. By the way, just like Stéphanie i had problem with track 7.

Rob Smart

Love your site, thanx for all the great stuff but I too have issues with #7

Buzz Dixon

Thanx for taking the time and effort to share these wonderful bits of musical ephemera (howzat for a buncha $5 words?). Seriously, RecordBro, you are providing a never ending fount of delights! Keep it up, man!

Reco Bro -

thanks for plugging our Phil Ochs fest - pretty much NO ONE knows who Phil Ochs is (relatively speaking) - a friend of mine said point blank to me last night: "I think Phil Ochs is better than Dylan" and he might be right...if we turn even ONE person on to Ochs, it'll be worth it...and a thousand would even be better

Ochs is definitely the angriest little asshole of a folksinger ever (even more pissed-off than Woody Guthrie) - - and The Ramones didn't start punk rock...Phil Ochs did...all on his own - (and he also hung out and had burgers with Burt Ward...Robin from 'Batman') GREAT POSTS...I'm still trying to fathom St John's Green...a great LP - - KURT

"Funny Freak Parade" is awesome.

Ultimate Spinach is groovalicious! Listening to Sacrifice of the Moon as summery breezes come through my opened windows; what a great way to end the day! Thank you recordbrother!

This is a great album. Its been rubbished by most 60s reviewers but I love its cheap Doors and Country Joe references. Its great and funny which is what music should be.

By the way I've known about Phil Ochs from the seventies and I've read a bit about him. A fascinating character and I notice his great album Phil Och's Greatest Hits (which is anything but)is posted on Kurt's site which features him in Elvis' gold lame suit. This is so ironic its not even funny.

If you have to listen to one of his songs try I'm Not Marchin Anymore. This has a directness missing from most of Dylan's stuff.

hi! grrreat work! i cant open the Baroque Nº1 track though!

Baroque is still not working.
Rest of the album is nice though. Thank you.
