Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche was a Vital Force in establishing Tibetan Buddhism in the west, teaching the dharma relentlessly until his parinirvana in 1987. Rinpoche established the First Buddhist Oriented University in the West Naropa. Rinpoche also wrote life changing books and poetry

 

 

FYI: The Internet Archive which you could spend months just digging through every fantastic Audio & Video file they've got, now has many super amazing Naropa lectures and classes up for download with teachers like Trungpa Rinpoche, Burroughs and Ginsburg we could learn a thing or two about a thing or four.

Thanka You No, No Thangka You

       Well as theses guys used to sing "What a Long Strange Trip It's Been" and for me one of those long journeys took the turn from casual tourist to somewhat serious student after viewing this beautiful, amazing, video.
